August First Friday – Mainframe Art Center, Des Moines
As the featured artist for Mainframe’s August First Friday, themed Movement, I filled the atrium with a selection of my giant puppets, performed two original shadow puppet shows, and invited audiences into an exploratory shadow puppetry lab. The evening celebrated motion through light, shadow, and larger-than-life characters, bringing art to life in unexpected ways.
